This small, 1 room, new tiny house called “The Light House” is decorated shabby chic and located in a beautiful wooded setting facing a cove at a marina with views of the water on the Ohio River. Catch beautiful sunrises here. There are shared places on the property guests can use while staying, a covered shelter with grills, supplies, tables, chairs, fire pit, side walks. You will use the restrooms in the shelter, just 5 steps away from your door. Umbrella provided in tiny house. See photos.

I am half a mile from Belterra Casino Resort, they have a free shuttle that comes to the marina. Just 7 miles from Vevay, Indiana, which has antique shops, the Switzerland County Art Center, and restaurants. They also host the Swiss Wine Festival every year. The Ridge Winery is close. Elk Creek winery is about 40 minutes away. I’m a 30 minute drive to Madison, Indiana a cute river town with lots of antique shops, restaurants and you can also hike at Clifty Falls. I am 25 minutes from Rising Sun Indiana, 40 minutes from Lawrenceburg and Aurora, IN. Many people visit the Ark and Creation Museum while staying here. I’m just a few miles from Kentucky Speedway, Neeley Family Distillery and Markland Dam. Jewell’s on Main in Warsaw, KY is a great restaurant close by.

I’m a positive person and consider each day a blessing. I have one amazing son I love with all my heart and who I am so proud of! I work with my husband who I met in 1990 and married in 1995. He is one of the hardest workers I’ve ever known. He started his Home Improvement company in 1999 and I’m an Interior Designer. I went back to school for design in 2013. It was always a hobby and I wanted a change. Prior to that I worked with children in various setting for 20 years. I have a Bachelors of Science in Mental Health and Human Services with an area of concentration in Early Childhood. We moved to the marina in 2019 and I started the Airbnb’s. I enjoy the beautiful scenery here and have loved boating and the water my whole life. Starting this business was a dream come true and I have enjoyed every minute! We drive lots more now than when we lived close to the Cincinnati but it has been worth it!

Please feel free to text anytime, I do live in a small house at the marina and I’m here if you need anything. Sometimes if I’m available I offer to take guests out on my pontoon for a boat ride on the Ohio River.
