Our recently renovated, stylish, ground floor apartment, is a part of an old 2-storey house, that was built in the late 19th century. In this, my grandmother,"Theodota", lived almost all her life. Ideally located in the heart of the Old Town, the picturesque part of the city, where the majority of places you would visit can be easily accessed on foot.

The space
Our house has a sense of nobility. We are in the centre of the Old Town in a peaceful area, a few steps from all the main sights of the historical centre. It is perfect to enjoy the local atmosphere, quiet and lively at the same time.
It is comprised of :
- an entryway area, with a wooden, antique office desk with chair
- a lovely and very quiet living room (with a sofa bed for 2 people), facing onto a beautiful garden
- a cozy kitchen (next to the living room) with dining area, equipped with all the appliances that are necessary for enjoyable cooking. It included oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster etc.
- a romantic, quiet bedroom
- a nice bathroom with shower
- a charming flowery garden (in Spring !!!), where is so pleasant to stay when the weather is warm and sunny, having breakfast, lunch, a relaxing aperitif, or read your book.

The house is built on a grid of cobbled streets. This grid, works in traditional settlement as a dominant unifying element, that reflects its relationship between human and environment. The street is often an extension of the private space, with the various and small uses that grow in the backyard of the houses, so it unites and does not disrupt the settlement and it is a place for frequent meeting of residents.
