Restored century old cottage set on very private 30 acres with direct walking access to the adjoining majestic Lalla Flower Farm (100 acres of historic gardens). Situated just 20 minutes drive from Launceston and 2 mins from the amenities of the village of Lilydale in the heart of the Tamar Valley wine region. Lalla Flower Cottage is a beautiful country Tasmanian retreat with two cosy living spaces with wood fires, privacy and loads of charm.

The space
Our charming cottage offers privacy and true taste of country Tasmania with stunning outlook, abundant wildlife, easy access to the many delights of the region. Although the cottage can sleep 6 people, we recommend a maximum of 4 guests because there is only one bathroom. Children are welcome but will need supervision as there is an unfenced dam and cliffs on the property near the house. Heating is with wood fires so guests need to be able to manage a wood burning heater.

Picturesque Lilydale is one of the most beautiful rural areas of Tasmania with Mt Arthur as its backdrop. It is famous for its public reserves/parks (including Hollybank reserve and aerial ropes course), walking trails (Mt Arthur, Lilydale Falls and the famous Lalla Flower Farm). Lilydale sits in the middle of the Tamar Valley wine route, and within the premier mountain bike precinct of northern Tasmania. 20 minutes from Launceston, and Bridestowe Lavender Farm, 45 mins from Derby (world championship mountain bike trail), the Launceston airport, and Barbnbougle/Lost Farm golf courses.
