In Yuksom, the 1st capital of Sikkim. Our space is your home away from home, nesled in a forest providing a peaceful atmosphere away from the noises in life. You'll love the sunlight, the breeze, the sound of birds, the cuisine, the Dzongri trek (Starts here), and the local sights.

We welcome staycations, work from hills, and family/weekend getaways.

The Lobding Homestay and Farm are located in a clearing off the main road opposite the Gupta Restaurant, one of us comes to meet and greet the guests and help carry luggage if required.
One needs to get down two flights of rock-formed stairs to get to the house.

Two of us are always at the homestay to welcome and check-in the guests.

Yuksom, Sikkim, India

Even though it is the first capital of Sikkim, it is the most preserved and the least populated of the places in Sikkim. It will take you back in time to the 1600's when it was established as the first capital. Yuksom is also the entry point for the world famous Goechala(Dzongri) Trek. It is a 2 hour drive from Pelling.
