Casita Estella is a 3 bedroom adobe farm house that is 175 years old. Because it is an original adobe home similar to Taos and Santa Fe, NM, the ceilings and doorways are lower, something you might consider if your group has guests over 6'.
We are located in beautiful Conejos County, Colorado, known for it's great fly fishing, outdoor activities and beautiful landscapes. Our home sits in the quiet community of Mogote, CO.

The space
My house is private home, sitting in a small community of neighbors. The surrounding areas are ranch and farmlands, along with other rental cabins for the summer tourists. The house has a carport and room for parking RV equipment.

The neighborhood should be quiet, with just a few neighbors near by. We have cooler summers, so many people have summer homes and do not live there full time. It is a rural area so each home is unique to itself with the neighbors being friendly and helpful.

I am a retired art teacher who loves to enjoy open spaces. My guest home sits in a small community, surrounded by farms and ranches. Sitting at the mouth of the Conejos Canyon in the San Juan Mountains, my visits to the Casita give me the needed break from the noisy city life of my home in Denver.
Being so close to Taos, NM I enjoy visiting galleries, touring the unique shops and celebrating the wonderful food of New Mexico.
