This is a REAL country house rescue mission so please keep your expectations on that level. It is not complete & has issues like dropped floor (lounge) & cracked but stable brickwork & plaster.
Open fire is in an un-renovated lounge area. If you want to use this area understand "un-renovated"
5-10 minute walk to Pub, town & River

The space
Restoring a country house back to a much loved space. It’s a work in progress but very comfortable.
Floors are squeaky, plaster is cracked but it’s warm, dry & has super comfortable beds & a cupboard full of games to play
Luxury touches in a rustic setting are high end natural fibre bedding: 100% French flax/linen or pure 100% cotton 500+ thread count sheets.
Large 100% Turkish cotton flat weave towels & wool or feather/down Doona/Duvets.
Coffee machine, microwave, small electric oven with 2 electric elements to cook on, toaster & kettle.
Tea & coffee provided.
Updated renovations are a new combustion wood fire in the kitchen, the front room has been underpinned (but not yet replastered) & a King Living Jasper couch added to the lounge room.
Pets are allowed to stay at this property & there are a range of woollen blankets that you can cover the beds or furniture with for your doggos, please be aware that the woollen blankets onsite will contain pet hair.
BBQ & portable air conditioning available
**a couple of guests have been concerned about the lounge area with its largish cracks in the brickwork & plaster, the house has been through several severe drought years & although it has shifted, it is structurally sound (not moving or falling). It’s 95 years old & isn’t going anywhere soon. It has been checked by a builder. Please be aware of this when booking or reviewing.
This is a fun, rustic, convenient & appropriately priced house, if you like things a bit rustic & a bit of an adventure then this is for you. If you want a 5 star new building or hotel type accommodations then it isn’t for you.
