We are located in De Maasduinen National Park. This is a beautiful area, where heather, fens and forest alternate. Within an hour walk there is a watchtower in the middle of the heath. Castle Bleijenbeek on the other side of the village is also worth a visit. Sightseeing by appointment. We have hiking maps of the area. Afferden has a bakery, cafeterias and cafes. Samen met Willy wonen en werken we op ruim vier hectare. We leven veel buiten en trekken ons vaak pas 's avonds terug in ons huis. We werken aan permacultuur, mooi hout, natuur, een goede bodem en we bieden mensen de ruimte om contact te komen met het buitenleven. Daar hoort buiten bezig zijn bij, eten van eigen bodem en de rust ervaren.
