Our Piece of Heaven was design to offer you not only accommodation, but a fully unique experience. Staying at our place will give you the feeling of a tree-house, the peace of a wood cabin, the view of a mountain cabin, the intimacy of the woods, the happiness of our two Bernese mountain dog companions, the commodity and space of a camper van with hot water, heat and electricity. The space
Our Piece of Heaven is not a luxury home, but a place where you will get unforgettable and unique experiences, therefore please read the following details in order to get a better idea of what we offer.
Please be advise that we have a second house, Piece of Dream, you can find it on this website. Piece of Dream is able to accommodate 4 persons (including children's) and it has more amenities while Piece of Heaven is dedicated for 2 adults only. You can rent one of them or both for larger groups (see our other listings)
The tree house is located within our home backyard and it shares a private 1000 square meters garden with Piece of Dream, it's 'twin sister'. The garden is separated by a beautiful pond where you can also fish. The access and parking area will be within our front garden.
On the location you will find a gazebo and a place where you can make a barbecue or do outside cooking.
The inside of our wood home has an open space format with a living area that can be transformed in a bedroom in 1 minute, and the toilet (see the pictures). You will also have a gas burner and basic tableware.
In cold weather, the heating is done on the fireplace with wood logs. This will give you a nice cozy feeling but you will have to put the logs in the fireplace. We will provide the woods on the home terrace.
The hot water comes from a 30 liters electric boiler which is enough for a nice and long shower. For a second shower you have to wait 20 minutes for the water to heat up.
The home is located 6 km outside Rasnov City in a beautiful and quiet place, where you can explore the nature by foot or on bikes, but that also means that you are 6 km away from stores, restaurants and supermarkets.
The bed is a custom sofa-type bed, composed of a 10 cm bed foam so it is different from a standard double bed.

Guest access
The access is through our 2000 square meter garden where you can also park the car. From there you have a 30 meter walk pass our home where me and my wife live, you will cross a 10 meter bridge over the pond from the pictures an you will arrive at the private 1000 square meter private garden for the two houses: Piece of Heaven and Piece of Dream, from the pictures. It is very likely that our two Bernese mountain dogs will accompany you all the way.

Other things to note
*Update: In the context of COVID-19 our place will offer you 100% social isolation. There will be limited interaction with us only at check-in.
No children and no pets allowed.
We do have 4G WiFi but the connection is far better with the nature.

Tourist attractions: Rasnov is a tourist resort surrounded by many other mountain resorts so you will have plenty attractions to see.
Bungee jumping: Located at Cheile Rasnoavei www.cheile-rasnoavei.eu you will find a 130 m hight bungee jumping installation.
Rock climbing: this activity is possible at Cheile Rasnoavei, Pietrele lui Solomon or Prapastiile Zarnestiului. Just google these terms and you will see.
Flight by airplane, Parachute, Paragliding, Motoparagliding: Near us you can find Aerodrom Piatra Craiului Zarnesti and Ghimbav Airfield which are small airfields where one can get into the air for unforgettable experiences over our mountains. Details on comefly.ro
ATV Rides: if you are a moto-enthusiast you can rent some ATV, just type ATV Rasnov on Facebook and you will find the details.
