A newly decorated, tastefully furnished cottage, with a fully equipped kitchen, is surrounded by a huge private garden. The place is ideal for romantic couples who would like a quick get away from the city and into nature. Kolkata is only 2 hours away. The house is 5 minutes from the Ganges in all its glory. Each season is beautiful, the rolling dark clouds in monsoon, the awe inspiring sunrise and sunset in winter or the garden full of birds and flowers in spring and summer. Come, stay with us!

The space
We provide a TV. There is no cable at the moment. The dining space can seat four. There is a fully furnished kitchen with fridge, crockery, cutlery and utensils. The bedroom upstairs has a full king sized bed and attached bath with shower. There is a small toilet and wash basin attached to the dining space on the ground floor. We have 24 hour power back up.
The house is surrounded by a huge beautiful private garden where one can experience the changing seasons! Parking for one car inside the private grounds is available. The cottage is situated within a gated property with twenty four hours security.
We provide facilities for indoor board games too.
Come stay a day, a week or even a month. You will feel at one with nature!!
The guests will have to buy packaged drinking water. The caretaker will arrange this on request.

The house is next door to a luxury resort with all its amenities. There are four wonderful restaurants nearby. Fresh produce can be obtained from the local market five kms away. The caretaker can arrange for a cook if guests let us know beforehand. The costs have to be paid directly to the cook.

The village is only minutes away from where guests can take a ride on a river boat to watch dramatic sunsets. Early morning is the time to buy fresh fish straight from the day's catch, and cook up a delightful meal.
One can go for riverside walks, read, paint, write poetry or just do nothing but lie back on the easy chairs provided, and gaze at the pristine blue sky above. Away from the din and bustle of the city, the retreat is perfect for physical and mental relaxation in the arms of nature.
Diamond Harbour, a tourist town is only half an hour away, and the seaside is ninety kms away.
