La Petite Maison à Peyriere is a beautiful, sympathetically restored traditional Perigordian stone cottage dating from 1750. Retaining all of its original charm and character this unique detached property has a stylish, and fresh interior set in a secluded garden surrounded by gentle French countryside.

This stunning property in the Vezere Valley in the heart of the Dordogne hosts fascinating pre-historic caves & magnificent castles. We are within half an hour of Les Eyzies, Sarlat and Lascaux

The space
The property has private parking and the option to keep your car in a cool covered garage. There is private access to your property.
The main entrance to the cottage enters onto a cool and cosy lounge with seating, tv, dining table and wood burning stove. Original feature fire place and beautiful references to the authentic historic features of the property.

The kitchen is fully functioning with all of the modern amenities required including induction hob, oven, fridge/ freezer and dishwasher.
Downstairs a modern shower room with toilet and utility area set up with washing machine, iron and direct access to the garden.

Upstairs bedroom 1 has a lovely kingsize brass bed and the 2nd has two single beds with a accessible bathroom with toilet. The beautiful exposed timber beams and traditional eaves of the roof fill this property with a charming unique character.

• Ancient sites and sweeping gorges of the Vézère Valley in the Dordogne. Surrounded by archaeological sites of international importance in Lascaux, near Montignac, where the world famous cave painting museums are open for visitors.

• The entire Valley is a UNESCO World Heritage Listed with many sites open to the public.

• 30km East to Sarlat an historic and beautiful market town.

• 9km South East to Limeuil, where the Vézère meets the Dordogne, officially one of France's prettiest villages.

• 45km to the historic town of Bergerac filled with shopping, cafes and restaurants. You can also fly into the international airport from various European locations.

• Numerous canoe and kayak hire centres up and down the valley that will drop you and your canoe off and pick you up at the other end.

• There's also hot air ballooning, horse riding and tree top adventure parks, plus a great aquarium.

• A huge variety of history to experience including Medieval Castles and Grottes and The National Museum of Prehistory in Les Ezyies.
