Bright Double Bedroom with compact private ensuite bathroom. This is not a self contained apartment and the OWNERS LIVE HERE FULLTIME. This sunny and characterful double room is on the top floor of a historic 19th Century Maltings building and has its own small private bathroom.
It's clean, cozy & secure in a gated property with 24hr security guard.
NO elevator so you must climb 3 flights of stairs.
Public parking within a 2 min walk and inside Congestion zone.
10 min walk to Tower Bridge.

The space
Hello and welcome to our home! We live here full time and welcome guests from all over the world. The apartment has lovely old timber floors, high ceilings and a 19th century Maltings chimney passing through the kitchen. Its a 200 year old, Grade 2 listed building and full of character. We have free fast fibre-optic wifi available. Your bedroom has quality Orla Kiely/Sheridan Australia bedding and towels, a large chest of drawers and space to hang about 10 items of clothing. We provide towels, soaps, shampoo, hairdryer, a small fridge, kettle and access to tea and coffee and fresh milk for guests. NO COOKING for short stays of 2 nights but breakfast is ok. Full cooking facilities are offered for stays longer than 3 nights

You’re 5 minutes walk from the Thames River, City Hall and the Tower Bridge. Lots of cool cafes and bars on Bermondsey St, 2 mins away. The famous Borough Market is 10 mins walk. The White Cube Gallery and Fashion and Textile Museum are 2 mins walk away and the Bermondsey St area has lovely gastro pubs and bars to enjoy. Maltby St and Ropewalk have wonderful weekend produce markets and there are numerous small breweries and gin distilleries along the arches near Maltby St.
The “Low-Line” walking path, passes along the south bank of the Thames right next to the Maltings estate.

Im a professional and work in Visual Arts education. I love this part of London for it’s history related to life on the riverThames. You can still see the old warehouses nearby and related trades such as tanneries, spice wharves, shipping paraphernalia and cobbled streets. This is a very quiet estate and was once a famous vinegar factory with it’s 19th Century chimney which is now a listed building.

Please REMOVE your shoes in the apartment as there are white floorboards.
