Stay in a traditional and unique bakery cottage - an old loghouse, reesently renovated. Enjoy the coosy feeling in the kitchen when the wood stove is burning. Take a swim och go fishing in the lake, there is also a plain sauna. Explore and enjoy the wonderful nature! This is the perfect basecamp för outdoor-life and culture excursions.

Summertime you can meet and feed hens, horses, cattle and cats, on our farm just 1 km away. Bake traditional thinbread in a woodfired oven, booking see below.

The space
You alone manage the entire cottage, which is situated together with the other buildings of the farm at a height in the cultivation landscape.
There is a nice feeling of calm and harmony in the cottage. Enjoy walking barefoot on soft wooden floors. Relax on the kitchen sofa and listen to the fire burning in the wood stove.

If you come in June-July, the violas and bluebells bloom in lovely rugs on the rocky ground in front of the cottage.
You have fresh, good water directly from the tap.

The cottage is built with traditional Swedish loghouse techique and externally clad with standing boards in spruce, painted with Faluröd color - the color no 1 in Sweden!

There are blinds for the bedroom windows and mosquito net-windows for ventilation if the light summer night is hot :-)

The cottage is located about 1.5 km from the E4 - easy to access but still far enough away.

There is a basic kit of detergent, toilet paper, household paper, soap, wood, candles and matches.
If you need to shop food etc there is an ICA store 2 km away, next to Nora church. They have basic medicin as painkillers and gasoline. You can also order oneline from Systebolaget and pick up your wine, beer etc in the food store after a few days.
