Cute little , NON SMOKING, three bedroom, older home, with lots of character.

The space
Older home, but I’ve made it more than interesting. The top of the upper floor of the house is yours . Please treat it like your own. Has ample sleeping space. Clean tidy with lots of character I live in the basement,but you have a total separate entrance. Fridge/stove/microwave, washer/dryer. Coffee pot/toaster/kettle. Bathroom has extra stuff if you’ve forgotten yours. Towels/shampoo/hairdryer and extras as well. Can sleep a family as well as a curling team all separately. Everything need in the kitchen to make meals. Pots,dishes,cutlery,glasses including wine glasses. Everything in the kitchen is yours to use.

Wadena is a very small town so you are within walking distance to almost everything you need. We have a fantastic bakery (must try the Boston creams) two oriental restaurants one Canadian/Greek /Italian restaurant. The residents is right across from curling rink which has a beverage room open winters only. The Co-op has a good selection of spirits, which is on the Main Street of wadena. The hockey rink is 1 block south,as well as the Hospital is north one block. The grocery store and hardware / liquor store are three blocks west .

I’m retired and still need to keep my self busy. I’ve renovated an older home to fit my needs, and found that I didn’t need all the room. I decided to creat a second living space in the basement and like living there. I’ve done many types of work from dental assistant to Welder and enjoy living in Wadena, slower pace. I’m a minister of Jehovahs witness’s ,very active in my congregation and enjoy meeting new people.

During your stay

I live on sight ,would be available to guests if needed, but not intrusive. There is a door to the down stairs which is locked from both sides.
