Maisonette in a complex of four houses within a large garden, in contact with the sea. The coast is accessible for swimming. The complex is 1 km away from the center of Nea Makri, where there are shops, banks, post office, supermarket and 500 meters from the center of Zouberi, with bakery, supermarket, restaurants.

The space
In the ground floor there is a living room with open kitchen, staircase from ground floor to first floor. At the first floor there are two small bedrooms, one with a double bed and a children room with two concrete beds, the one with wood ladder. There is also bathroom with shower. On the ground floor a large sun terrace with fantastic views of the garden and the sea.
The living room has a fireplace, dining area and 1 sofa bed.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, oven, toaster, French and espresso machine and full cooking utensils. There is dishwashing machine and a clothes washing machine (outside).
The house has a cozzy atmosphere, with Greek Cycladic architecture, and assorted furnishing.

You will find the basic materials for a breakfast. You can enjoy the tranquility of the countryside, with a glass of homemade liqueur at the terrace.
Books and artwork from my personal collection, some of them handmade by me. You can study the books in Greek, about Greek philosophy, art, self knowledge.

In the outside there is a bbq space for use.

Nea Makri, Greece

THE AREA

The beach house is located in front of the seaside of the region between Rafina and Marathon, on the Aegean sea.
Near the residence is the little town of Nea Makri in 2 km distance and Rafina in 5 km, where there are banks, post office, supermarkets, cinemas, theaters, shops. The region is fully of restaurants, bars, an esplanade on the sea in walking distance near the little port of Nea Makri give you the chance to keep walking day and night.
In the region you can visit the historic town of Marathon, 5 kilometers from the house, with the museum and the historic tomb and have a nice time at the lake of Marathon on the mountain. The little port of Agia Marina is close by and from there you can visit the island Evia. The port of Rafina is also 5 km away, from where you can take a boat to many islands like Andros, Tinos, Mykonos, in one day trip or more and other beautiful islands...
You can go daily to Athens by car or by public traffic and metro to the center of Athens, there you can visit Acropolis with Parthenon, museums like Archaeological, the Acropolis museum, the museum of Cycladic art( Picasso and Minotaur this summer), Byzantine museum, shops in the shopping center of Athens, or visit the nice neighborhoods of the town and taste the very good Greek food.
You can organize daily trip to the temple of Poseidon at Sounion, or to the ancient theater of Epidaure, two days trip for Delphi and there are so many archaeological places to visit during your holidays in Greece, if you want.
In the complex of the houses, there is possibility to have experience of Greek cooking, or try to learn more abilities about o lot of handcrafting hobbies, like making jewelry, knitting, weaving, textile art and more.
