Start your morning with refreshing swim in the lake, followed by coffee in the hot tub. Go for a paddle in the kayaks and see if you can spot the eagle, a beaver or if your lucky maybe even a seal. Enjoy a day in downtown Halifax, only 30 minutes away, perhaps a day trip to Peggy’s Cove or one of Nova Scotia’s white sand beaches. This home has 3 bedrooms that can sleep 5 people. If available, you can also rent the separate basement apartment with queen bed. Sorry no pets or parties.

The home has an outdoor propane fireplace, barbecue, and outdoor seating. Outside you will find a shared hot tub. During the summer, a dock, rocky beach, lounge chairs, kayaks, and washer toss are available. Please note that there is also an AirBnB in the basement unit. This is a quaint neighborhood focused on lake activities such as swimming and kayaking in the summer, and skating and ice fishing in the winter. You may enjoy watching the eagle on his daily route past the house. There are local parks with hiking trails, as well as some off the beaten path hiking destinations. The Dartmouth Crossing shopping and entertainment district is 20 minutes away and downtown Halifax 30 minutes. The house is in a central location for many tourist activities within an hour radius, such as tidal bore rafting, Peggy's cove, south shore and eastern shore beaches and more.
