Character 1930's seaside cottage by the sea. Set in tranquil 1/2 acre garden,walk to the beach down driveway.
One bedroom (2 singles/king), self contained cottage. Full kitchen, bathroom, laundry and off street parking. Double sofa bed in lounge.

The space
The cottage is totally self contained with a kitchen,lounge, bedroom and separate bathroom. There is a large veranda at the front of the cottage that gets the afternoon sun, a great spot to relax with a glass of wine. You can walk to the beach down a private drive way for an early morning stroll or swim.

There is the lovely Waiake Beach at the end of the drive with a small island called the Tor ( ie the Tor of Torbay). if you walk another 20 minutes north you will be at beautiful Long Bay Region Park, which is a marine reserve, with a 1km long beach and reserve with the old historic Vaughan's Homestead, mountain bike trails and walking/running tracks.
Torbay Village is just a short 10 minute walk away with shops, doctors,dentist,bank restaurants,takeaways and cafes.

The Bosuns Locker Cottage is set in a 1/2 acre garden of our family home. Clive has lived in this lovely spot right on the beach for 50 years and the main family home is one of the oldest in Torbay built in the1930’s. Clive and Mandy live here with their young staffie dog Luna, our 2 girls are now out in the work force living away from home.
