Situated on Isla Solarte, a peaceful jungle island. With constant warm temperatures, lovely ocean breezes and refreshing rain showers. Shades of greenery, tropical flowers and birds abound. A small private white sand beach for your enjoyment. Expansive views over our beautiful natural water way between Bastimentos and isla Solarte. We are an eco friendly residence using solar power and nature’s own rain water. All in a private setting with amazing sunrises and sunsets. Non-smoking

The space
Isla Tiempo is a 2 bedroom island bungalow perfect for up to 4 guests (Note double occupancy, additional guests are charged per night).

We are located on isla Solarte - Red Frog beach is the nearest beach. Stores and restaurants are located on isla Colon, Bocas Town a 20 minute water taxi ride.

Our bungalow is offered with comfy queen beds and ceiling fans overhead, 1 1/2 baths with hot showers, fully self contained kitchen with laundry and a furnished outdoor deck with a gas grill.
Each room has a private patio with chairs and a hammock.
Our main house has a beautiful built in swimming pool for your vacation rental use, breathtaking views of the “Cut” over Almirante bay while you relax in the warm Bocas sun. We have an awesome palapa and swim dock over the ocean with a ladder and calm, warm waters for your enjoyment. Also available for your use we have a stand up paddle board and two 2 person kayaks.
Power boats, fishing boats, and picturesque sailboats often pass by as well as the indigenous in their unique wooden cayucos peacefully fishing along the shoreline. Dolphins and spotted rays are familiar sights seen hunting, playing, jumping or just cruising by.
Snorkel under our dock where you will find many types of fish and urchins living there. Coral and colorful sea sponges grow along the columns.
Starfish, rays, skates, snapper and small barracuda are commonly seen. We also have a fishing pole and basic fishing needs to try your luck from our dock.
Swimming, fishing, snorkeling, paddling, sun tanning, lying in the hammock with a good book are always fun and easy. This is a non smoking accommodation.

We are located on the southernmost end of Isla Solarte approx 20 minutes from Bocas town (we are not on Bastimentos). Nearby white sand beaches at Red Frog Beach. Red Frog Resort also has zip lining, beach bars, restaurants and perfect sun tanning spots. The new Red Frog Market is close and convenient for your culinary supplies. Inland river and bat cave tours in the indigenous village of Bahia Honda, Snorkeling at Coral Caye, Monkey Refuge on Isla Popa and other local markets are all within reach. The famous Zapitilla islands with their picturesque turquoise water and stunning white sands are an excellent day trip that can be a scheduled pick up directly from our dock. Blue Coconut Bar and Restaurant with its now world famous Filthy Friday Island Bar Crawl is just a few minutes by boat. Other bars and restaurants near by.
