The Cozy Cabana is a cute and cozy studio, located in a quiet neighborhood and only minutes walking distance to the famous Split. The interior is basic, though comfortable. If you want a touch of the real Belizean lifestyle, this is the place to be.

The space
The cabana hosts a maximum of 2 people and is a perfect hangout for all the activities on the island. Inside is a small living area with kitchen (stove/oven, fridge, all necessary utensils), half separate bedroom with a queen bed and a spacious shower/bathroom. Outside is a comfortable veranda with hammock. The cabana does not have hot water, but in a tropical climate you'll be happy to take a refreshing shower.

Close to the house -about 50 yards from the property- is our dock, which is a perfect spot for a morning coffee, sunbathing or a dip in the water. This dock also gives you a front row seat for the most beautiful sunsets. If you like dogs, you're at the right place: we have 2 very friendly dogs named Gumbo & Mayzie who are usually in the yard at daytime.

The cabana is located in the backyard of the very unique and authentic outdoor restaurant 'Wish Willy Bar & Grill', run by my husband. The restaurant is not more than a couple of tables and chairs in the yard and you have to walk through it to reach your cabana. From the veranda you look out over the restaurant. It's open every night for dinner.

Where you’ll be

Caye Caulker, Belize

The cabana is just a moments walk to 'The Split', where the island is split in two and which is the most popular spot for swimming, snorkeling or to have a drink at the famous bar 'the Lazy Lizard'. The main street -Front Street- is right around the corner. Here you'll find several restaurants, supermarkets, souvenir shops and food- and fruit stands. The many local people you meet are always in for a chat. The part of the island where the cabana is located is only 100 yards wide so the sea & beach are always nearby.
