Where you’ll be

Cork, County Cork, Ireland

We are 2 min walk from McCurtain Street which is the beginning of the centre of town and has a whole host of great pubs & restaurants.
We're also a 3 min walk from St Luke's cross, which is a lively spot with a fantastic artisan shop, Henchys pub and the gorgeous atmospheric Wine Tavern for cheap & cheerful (& delicious) food & drinks. There is also Live at St Luke's, which hosts gigs/concerts in a beautiful old deconsecrated church there (you can google them to see if there's anything on for the dates that you're interested in)
We are within 5 minute walk from both the bus station & train station, and a 10 minute drive from the airport. We are also within walking distance of Pairc Ui Caoimh and Independent Park, where there are also lots of concerts and sporting events happening all year round.
There is a bike rental shop 1km from our house should you want to venture a bit farther afield.
If you have a car, there is never any problem getting parking outside our house. It is disc parking between 8.30am & 6.30pm, Monday to Saturday. Discs are €2 for 2 hours and I can have them ready for you at the house so you dont need to worry about getting them before you arrive. Parking is free between 6.30pm and 8.30am Mon to Saturday and free all day Sunday

My husband and I renovated our beautiful home ourselves. I am a cook & have my own food business, my husband is a builder & carpenter, and we live with our dog Holly & cat Peggy.

During your stay

Unless we meet in the shared entrance or stairway, there is very little chance we will see each other. But I am always available either to respond to any questions/queries, either in person or by phone.
