QUIET CORNER IN PARADISE where your wake up call may be sandhill cranes, Western Meadow Larks, elk bugling, or cattle on the Story ranch. In every direction mountain ranges are in sight. The Absaroka mountains are to the east and the Gallatin range to the west. During September and early October elk may be heard bugling in the Valley. September is their rut season and a sense of excitement is in the air! Between Quiet Corner and Yellowstone prong horn, elk, and big horn sheep may be seen.

The space
Parking is close to your private entrance. Your accommodations are on one level. Guests will find their accommodations to be bright and inviting. Emigrant Peak, 10,922', is visible from all windows! Guests have access to a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, Keurig, toaster, dishes and silverware. For guests who plan on making lunches there is plastic wrap and baggies available. The dedicated workspace includes a desk with a comfortable chair.

Located 30 minutes north of Yellowstone National Park. Our community is quiet and rural. Arcturus Dr. is a gravel road. Sightings of deer, sandhill cranes, hawks, eagles, and osprey are common. In the winter hundreds of elk are often in close view or actually on our property.

We keep up-to-date daily on location of WILDLIFE and GEYSER activity. We will have maps of the park for guests and will be delighted to answer questions regarding the park and share our knowledge of the surrounding Yellowstone ecosystem. We can be available mornings, after arrival, or evenings.
