We rent a private room for 2 persons with private bathroom in our house. A separate corner in the garden for you to barbecue, eat and relax is available. Bicycle parking is in the basement .

Bodenwerder is a quiet historic town with partly village character. There are many things to discover around the baron of Münchhausen, such as the museum, the musical and the Münchhausenspiel, the Münchhausenfiguren, the Münchhausenbrunnen as well as an old steam engine, historic half-timbered houses and churches. Whether on foot or by bike, there are many interesting places to discover in our beautiful Weserbergland and the idyllic Wesertal around Bodenwerder.
Steamer rides and paddle tours on the Weser are also possible.
Our favourite restaurants in the city centre are Cafe Canelle, Cafe Lutz and Restaurant Akropolis right on the Münchhausenbrunnen.
The Grohnder Ferry House (10km away) directly on the Weser cycle path with beer garden and views of the Weser is highly recommended.
The rat-catcher town of Hameln with various attractions is about 25km away.
Also Bad Pyrmont with its beautiful spa park, many attractions, the Hufelandtherme and great restaurants is only about 30km away.
Swimming pools are optionally open due to Covid19.
The Vogler & Ith mountain ranges invite you to hike.
