We love nature. We love silence, the woods and the fireplace. We love being away from the noise, yet living  close to the hundreds of attractions in the region. We love the City of Arts, Szentendre. So we created our dream cabin right on the edge of the forest, and it's time to share the experience. Located on the highest peak of the Szentendre Mountains with a stunning view, Hilltop Hideout is a perfect place to relax only 10 minutes away from all the fun the area provides.

The space
Hilltop Hideout is a log cabin on the highest peak of the Szentendre Mountains, right next to the forest, ideal for two people. We wanted to create an exceptionally romantic and cozy small house, where our guests can enjoy the nature and peace.

Szentendre is famous for its colorful, mediterranian style old town,  being the City of Arts, with its vivid, winding streets, reminding the visitor of the beaches of Dalmatia. All who come here will find something attractive amongst the countless coffee shops, restaurants, museums, forest trails, bike paths and promenades. They all serve one purpose: to make the traveller return home full of happyness and experiences. Or make them stay. Like we did.

Hello Dear Traveller, we're Agi and Kristof, hosts of Hilltop Hideout. We've been around the world from Colombia, through the USA and Africa to many countries in Europe, never staying at hotels, rather searching for some special mood. A long time dream came true by creating this cozy log cabin next to the forest, on top of the mountain with an amazing view. We'd like to share with our guests everything we love: sitting by the campfire, drinking wine and enjoying the view or simply chill out and read by the fireplace. And if we want to get more active or want to enjoy the gastronomy of the area, we just get in the car and drive 10 minutes. And yes, we're fascinated by good food and fresh produce, so our breakfast is a tasty selcection of what we like best in the region.
