Roncola, also called the balcony of the Po Valley, is located 25km northwest of Bergamo at a height of 900 metres above sea level.
It offers a peaceful mountain atmosphere that can also be reached in a short time from Milan and sports activities of various kinds.

Very popular with lovers of road bicycles or MTBs for the beautiful routes it offers, numerous well-marked and well-equipped walking trails (you can mention the Water Trail, the Trail of the Villages and the path to reach the top of Mount Linzone in a couple of hours)

One of the things to see in Valle Imagna is the sanctuary of the Madonna della Cornabusa, inside you can breathe a truly mystical atmosphere. The shrine was carved into a natural cave and preserves the wooden statue of Our Lady found by a deaf-mute shepherdess who regained her hearing and speech. Beautiful view over the whole valley.

A few kilometres away by car, in the locality of Forcella Alta, located in the centre of a small but enchanting plateau, right on the border between the Bergamo and Lecco slopes, there is the Pertus pond: an ideal destination to relax and enjoy the pristine nature and the unbeatable panorama that overlooks on the one hand, the Imagna Valley, on the other, the Brianza lakes and - in the distance - the Monviso and Monte Rosa mountain ranges. This scenic setting is highly sought after during the summer to escape the city heat, go for a picnic or rest in a tent; but also during the winter to ski mountaineering or snowshoeing on the cross-country ski trail. For trekking enthusiasts, from Laghetto del Pertus you can set off on numerous excursions to Monte Tesoro and Resegone; there are also numerous events, organised throughout the year, from the Pertus Restaurant Bar and aimed at both children and adults.
