Relax and unwind in this rustic style cabin located directly in front of the lake. Hang out in the hammock on the balcony, take the kayaks out and explore the lake or get some sun on the dock. We have everything you need to enjoy your stay including electricity, running water, full kitchen, outdoor BBQ's and Wi-Fi.

The space
A unique place unlike anywhere else on the island, Cabana Quebec is located in a remote location high in the central mountain range, directly in front of the cleanest, most refreshing lake in Puerto Rico. This is a unique cabin perfect for a single person or couples looking to relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature in the raw with modern amenities (Dont forget to bring your furry friend, we are pet friendy!) Cabana Quebec is located down by the lake and is the middle cabin in the center of the common area of the main deck and outdoor dining area surrounded by the other cabins on either side. In the back area of the cabin is an outdoor cooking area and in front is a wrap around wooden walking deck that leads to the dock. The inside space is an open studio with a full kitchen consisting of gas stove, microwave, sink, refrigerator and espresso machine, we have basic cooking utensils and pots and pans, if you plan to cook anything extensive we recommend bringing your own. In the middle of the room is a queen sized bed. Two large wooden doors open up to the private covered patio outside which has a hammock, two lounge chairs and a small wooden table and direct view of the lake. The bathroom inside has sink, toilet, and shower with warm water if used on a low setting and we provide hand soap and a basic hair and body wash.

Lago Carite is an artificial lake created in 1913 as a fresh water source for the municipality of Guayama. Our property is located 2,000 feet above sea level in the Sierra de Jajome mountain range near the Guavate-Carite Forest, a 6,000-acre nature reserve nearby the Aguirre State Forest. We are located close to the eastern portion of "La Ruta Panoramica" which is a 167 miles stretch of scenic highway crossing Puerto Rico through the high central mountain ranges. The town center of Guavate located along and known "The Pork highway" is a short 15 minute drive from Casa Carite. Here you will find streets lined with lechoneras with restaurants serving classical Puerto Rican cuisine with music playing and people dancing and drinking "Chinchorro" style. The town center of Guayama is 30 minutes south of our location and here you can find beaches and restaurants along the coast.

Casa Carite By The Lake is a lakefront cabin retreat located 7,000 feet above sea level in the mountains of Carite forest located on Lago Carite in the municipality of Guayama, Puerto Rico. Our property currently has eight two-person cabins and two six-person cabins, all located directly in front of one of Puerto Rico's cleanest and most refreshing lakes. All of the cabins have balconies which provide full views of the surrounding lake and mountain side. The cabins come fully equipped with kitchenettes, bathrooms and all the amenities needed to make your stay comfortable and practical. We have numerous out door areas where you can BBQ, relax and reconnect with nature. Casa carite by the lake is the perfect place for individuals, couple and families to escape the modern world and experience the majestic Puerto Rican mountainside. The cabins can be rented individually or together as part of a package for large events and gatherings.
