The house is located right next to the Husken nature reserve, with a natural beach and a field of rauks. Close by, accessible by bike or car, is Valleviken (2.5 km), Lergrav (1km) and Furilden (1km).

Basic bicycles are available for use by the guests, free of charge.

The house is located on Husken, a small peninsula between Valleviken and the island Furilden in Rute region, Gotland. Right next to the property is the Husken nature reserve where one can walk through a field of rauks, with a view of the sea.

The beach on Husken (right next to the house) is a natural beach. A sandy beach more suitable for children is located in close-by Valleviken.

During the tourist season (mid-June until mid-August) there are several cafés and restaurants close by. Sjökrogen Valleviken (https://www.valleviken.se/) , Lergrav Fisk & Café (http://www.lergrav.com/), Furillen (https://www.furillen.com/) , Rute Stenugnsbageri (http://rutestenugnsbageri.se/).

Fårösund is located approximately 15 minutes away by car, from there one can take the free ferry ride to the island of Fårö. About 20 minutes away is Bungenäs with several restaurants and cafés (http://bungenas.se/).
