Jaiyen, Thai for ‘calm heart’, is designed for healing & empowering your mind, body, & spirit. It is a safe space for visionaries & changemakers to incubate blueprints for a new reality. Jaiyen inspires creative focus, memorable conversations, collaboration & net-positive impact projects; with healthy plant-based meals, engaging island activities & cultural discovery set in an environment that encourages reconnection of oneself to the wondrous ecosystem we inhabit.

The space
As a fledgling startup, we are enthusiastic and passionate about providing a safe and enjoyable space for people to explore the journey inward to self-reflection, and cultivate an authentic expression of creativity toward the wider community. We operate as a global family unit, in service of the people who are invited into our home, while also giving space for self-reliance and personal responsibility to be practised. Where you’ll be

Koh Yao Noi , Phang Nga, Thailand

We are situated on the North-Western side of the island, facing the picturesque Limestone Karsks of Phang Nga Bay, illuminated in bright splashes of blue, orange, purple, and pink during sunset. The national park and world-renowned 'Big Tree' (a 300-year old Hopea Beccariana) is a hike or kayak trip around the corner, while to the south, a local Fisherman's village, community market, rice fields, mushroom farm, and coconut plantations are available for visitors to explore.

The other side of the island has more lively activities such as the Koh Yao Noi Muay Thai camp, several bars and restaurants, a hidden waterfall, and a local women's community that sells and teaches various cultural handicrafts.

All throughout the island, one can experience idyllic beaches, unique birds like the Hornbill and Blue Winged Fairy Bird, and the simple pleasures of preserved island life.

80's kid exploring every adventure I can find on this wonderful floating dirt-ball we call home. I love meeting new people and sharing what I have to make your day brighter.

I will respond to inquiries and am happy to make your stay as carefree and enjoyable as possible.

A bit about me:

Up for anything, down for whatever, my sun always shines no matter the weather!

I am a musician at heart, a computer geek in mind and an adventurer in soul. I love my quiet time at home, but when I'm out and about, I won't stop until I run out of gas. My mum is my first love and my dad is my biggest hero. My siblings are my most treasured relationships, my friends are suppliers of smiles and good times to anyone who will listen and my best friend is also my greatest lover.

5 things I can't live without: music, hugs, laughter, silence and food!

travel destinations: New York, Stockholm, Tokyo, Melbourne.
books: Wolf of The Plains, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Comics.
movies: 7 Pounds, Zatoichi, What Dreams May Come.
shows: Dexter, Spartacus, Family Guy.
music: Prince, Gospel, Chillout.
food: Protein, protein, protein!

As a guest I'm extremely neat, clean and tidy. I travel quite a lot so efficiency is my top priority. Pack light, see more... go nuts exploring!

As a host I'm as generous and hospitable as I like to be treated - mum's done a pretty good job on me, being a hotel manager in her younger years!
