Bright cheery historic miners cabin in the heart of Madrid New Mexico.

The space
Come stay in one of the original miners cabins in Madrid New Mexico. The house is within walking distance of all the shops and galleries including the historic Mineshaft tavern. The downstairs is comfortable and inviting with a combined living room and dining area that seats 4 . There is a television in the living room that has Roku so you can watch tv and movies if you wish. The kitchen has a full size fridge, stove and oven if you wish to stay in and cook. There are also two restaurants and a coffee shop in Madrid that serve delicous food as well as a general store. Upstairs is a cozy and bright bedroom with a queen size bed and a small electric fireplace for heating. There's also a seating area next to the bedroom that has a double fold out futon. Downstairs is the bathroom with shower. A lot of the old cabins in Madrid only had outhouses so in order to provide indoor facilities there is an incinolet toilet. It's super easy to use, burns the waste to a clean and germ free ash and saves thousands of gallons of water a year making it an eco friendly choice in the desert.
