2 bedroom property in a quaint terrace located within the village beautiful of village of Clonegal in the south east of Carlow. This village lies on the border of three counties Carlow Wicklow and Wexford making it both a perfect and picturesque location for our guests to rest and enjoy the beautiful South East.

The Wicklow Way Long Distance Walk ends here. Huntington Castle is located in the center of the village & Clonegal is a frequent award winner in the national tidy towns competition.

Bus service available , Just 3 miles from Bunclody town, 2 miles to Kildavin ,10 miles from Tullow and a short 20 minute drive to Carlow town. Local amenities available in village shop and lots to do and see around the local area.

Peaceful village located at the finish ( or start ) of the Wicklow way walk, local shops available but close at 9 pm, for that special treat the Amazing multi award winning Sha Roe Bistro is a must if time permits , advance booking is required at 053 7375636 or reservations@sha-roe.ie )

2 local pubs Sean O’Duin’s and Osborne’s pubs located a short 5 minute walk away. Beautiful Huntington Castle and gardens located in the center of the village with tours available in the summer months.
And a short drive Mount Wolseley Hotel Tullow and Bunclody golf course makes the village central for a spot of golf also. If it’s scenery you like Altamount Gardens, Mount Leinster all located a short distance away.
Bus Eireann and Wexford Bus operates twice daily from Bunclody (3 miles away) and Bus Eireann from Kildavin also.

I enjoy traveling and experiencing the cultures of the world. I enjoy meeting new people and am a keen cyclist and mountain walker when weather permits.

I live in the adjoining half of the cottage, so am available for questions, suggestions & help.
For hikers your host would also be happy to facilitate a request for some items of shopping upon arrival if required. Please do not hesitate to ask. Basic breakfast can also be supplied at a small extra cost if agreed in advance.
