The space
Ancient country house nestled in a large garden in the foothills of Crespano del Grappa, between Asolo and Bassano.
The house is spread over two floors: on the ground floor a large double-height living room overlooks the garden directly through a large window exposed to the sun. The stately south-facing dining room is served by a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, modern kitchen and oven). A new bathroom with shower, cellar and laundry complete the ground floor.
From the entrance you climb to the first floor, with two large double rooms very sunny, and a large bathroom with bathtub. At the bottom of the hallway a bunk bed and a single bed allow hospitality for three other people (even children).
Around the house a garden with centuries-old trees furnished creates a nicely shaded corner in summer and sunny in winter. A rose garden with ancient varieties completes the core of the garden. A large 5,000m2 lawn extends south creating a sense of unity and intimacy to the house. The large car park is protected by an electric gate.
The surrounding landscape is dominated by the Grappa massif, famous for its pastures and mountain huts, forests, and the historical and archaeological memory of the Great War.
The area is famous for the large Venetian villas of Palladio and contemporary, and beautiful historical villages such as Asolo. They are lands of renowned food and wine tradition, with excellences such as prosecco di Valdobbiadene and Morlacco del Grappa cheese.
Another great cultural attraction is the gypsy library of Canova in Possagno.
Sport: Grappa is known throughout Europe for paragliding.
On Mount Grappa the hiking trail is well developed, with both pedestrian and cycling possibilities.
In an hour you can reach the magnificent Asiago Plateau, which offers the possibility of beautiful walks in summer and a wide variety of winter sports.
