Experience sunny Southern Portugal at CASA DO CANCHINO, a spacious, newly renovated villa in the heart of the Algarve. Walking distance from a popular golf resort, we are also near great beaches, restaurants and family-friendly facilities. Our lovely home features all major appliances, luxuries and amenities, including barbecues, LED TVs, a fireplace and more. Sun-bathe or enjoy refreshments on our relaxing terrace, which is just across from the swimming pool. An ideal base to explore the area.

The space
Our spacious villa is fully refurbished and features new furnishings, a stylish, ultra-modern kitchen, 2 spacious bedrooms with king-sized beds, 2 fold-out twin-sized beds in the other rooms (one in the living room and the other in our "sunlight lounge"), 3 bathrooms (2 with showers), heating and air-conditioning, free curb-side parking just next to our home, a tasteful, modern living and dining area featuring a new working fireplace, and a large terrace with a fantastic view of the complex's gardens and communal pool.

BEDROOMS

Our home boasts 2 bedrooms and space for sleeping up to 6 guests--or even up to 8 if there are children:

Room 1: King-sized bed, a/c, brand new 45" LED Smart TV with over 120 multi-language channels, en-suite bathroom and shower, south-facing patio doors that open to terrace and pool view, security gate for night sleeping

Room 2: King-sized bed, a/c, desk with garden views and USB/HDMI ports, bathroom with shower just outside the door

Sunlight Lounge: Relaxing extra room with great afternoon sun, and which also has a comfortable pull-out sofa that can be converted into a small bed; in addition, a deluxe-model Pack 'N Play crib is available for sleeping babies and toddlers

BATHROOMS

We have 2 full bathrooms and a smaller half-bathroom off of the living area:

+ Stand-alone showers in the two main bathrooms
+ Double basins (sinks) in the two main bathrooms
+ Newly remodelled, fully equipped and beautifully designed
+ Ample bathroom space for all of our guests

TERRACE

Our terrace has a view of the swimming pool and features:

+ Large dining table with seating for 8-10 people
+ 2 barbecues (a new gas-powered one and a traditional Portuguese briquette-style one)
+ 4 relaxing sun loungers for sun bathing
+ Set of 2 cushioned lounge chairs and 2 Miami chairs, with table and large umbrella
+ Only a 30-metre walk to the pool

KITCHEN

Our recently renovated kitchen is fully equipped and includes:

+ Easy-to-use dishwasher
+ Forced-air oven with matching microwave/pizza oven
+ Large refrigerator and freezer
+ Washing machine and tumble dryer (with separate area for outdoor drying)
+ Capsule coffeemaker, kettle and toaster on counter
+ French press and food chopper in cupboard

This area is also newly refurbished and features:

+ Large, comfortable sofa that can also fold out into a bed
+ Brand-new 55" LED Smart TV with over 200 multi-language channels

We are a happily married international couple who love travelling the globe, meeting people from different countries and experiencing all that life has to offer. We're into photography, hiking, cooking, dogs and cats (we love both equally), and taking in all that life has to offer.

In our travels to over 40 countries, we have met some fantastic people, including those in the Airbnb community. Since we have always enjoyed hosting people, then sharing this enjoyment and making people feel comfortable in our Airbnb home in Portugal made perfect sense to us.

On our first visit to Portugal in 2017, we fell in love immediately and decided that this is the place we will soon be calling "home." We recently purchased a beautiful villa in The Algarve, and we hope that by staying at our place, our visitors will experience the same passion for Portugal that we feel.
