‘Seabirds’ a couples retreat, aptly named for the variety of sea birds seen and heard along this beautiful stretch of coastline. Come and relax, unwind and rejuvenate in this spacious studio apartment set upon a spectacular 50 acre private waterfront property. A world away from neighbours and traffic but centrally located and ideally situated for exploring Bruny Island

The space
The studio apartment is a private separate dwelling, set away from the main house boasting magnificent views of the D'entrecasteaux channel, Satellite Island and the Hartz mountains in the distance. The space is bright and cosy, furnished with a relaxed coastal theme. There is a well equipped kitchen with a fridge, cooktop, microwave oven and BBQ on the deck, along with all the cooking utensils you may need. The kitchen is stocked with some basics you are welcome to use. We offer a comfortable queen size bed with quality linen for your comfort. There is a wood heater to keep you warm and cosy on those cooler evenings.

The central location of ‘Seabirds’ allows you to explore Bruny Island’s main attractions and sample local produce with the Winery, Bruny Island Cheese company, Get Shucked Oysters, and Chocolate Factory, all within a short drive. It is within close distance to Alonnah beach, the local hotel and other services.
‘Seabirds’ is a waterfront property with full access to our private coastline for swimming, snorkelling and exploring. Of an evening wallabies graze in abundance unperturbed by human presence. Possums, quolls and echidnas are also frequently seen. For the bird lover there is opportunity to see endemic species. Sea eagles and wedge tailed eagles nest along this coastline and are often seen soaring high above.
Bruny Island offers some great walks through national parks and along stunning pristine beaches. The surf beach at Cloudy Bay is 15 minutes drive. Or maybe you prefer to just relax, put your feet up and enjoy the natural surroundings and stunning island views.
