Close to Donnington Castle in Newbury, our place is a converted garage on the side of our house, with separate access round the back of the house, and off road parking for our guests. It is light and airy with a large window and separate entrance. There is a shower room and toilet, and a small kitchen area with kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave for simple meals. Excellent access to the M4 and A34 and public transport.

Our place is perfect for business trips to Newbury, and best suited to short stays. Basic breakfast items will be available free of charge

Newbury is a friendly town with a fascinating history, good transport links, great shopping, and loads of eating/drinking places all within walking distance. We have great views across to Donnington Castle and a local recreation park close by. It’s perfectly placed for walking too. Co-op and Waitrose are close by, and a 15 minute walk to the Kennet and Avon canal.

During your stay

We are available most of the time, as we live in the house with our grown up teenage son. You can have as much or as little contact with us as you want!. We welcome walkers, cyclists and motorcyclists.
