Welcome to the tiny Cabin In The Cove! This beautiful cabin sits right in the woods of central Pennsylvania. The cabin is located 1000 ft away from the creek. State game land is a 5 minute drive for hunting. Acres of land for hiking, watch wildlife, or just relax. The Juniata river is a 10 minute drive to go kayaking. Amazing mom and pop resturaunts to eat at. This cabin is just one hour from Penn State main campus for football games and is an hour from Hershey Park.

The space
Inside there is a small twin bed to the back, a futon in the living room area that converts to a full size bed and the loft has a full sized mattress. We have put a folding twin cot at the cabin that can be used on the main level if you prefer to sleep downstairs instead of the loft or if you don’t want to convert the futon into a bed. Please bring your own bedding or sleeping bags and bath towels! The kitchen area is equipped with a small refrigerator, hot plates, electric skillet, coffee maker, cookware, and dishes. Tea towels and dishcloths are provided. The bathroom has a galvanized tub shower, pedestal sink, and a composting toilet as found in most tiny houses. Outside there is a gas grill for cooking on or you can cook over an open campfire! Firewood is provided for the campfire ring and there is a picnic table. We also have mountain pie makers, hot dog forks and outside cookware for your stay.

This Cabin is located in a cozy country setting perfect for enjoying nature at it’s finest! It’s a 5 minute drive to state game land for hunting! The Juniata River is your spot to go kayaking. There are plenty of mom and pop local restaurants 10 minutes away. Penn State and Hershey Park are both a 60 minute drive. Port Royal Speedway for the dirt track Saturday night racing just 15 minutes away. We have a Drive-In Theatre that plays movies on the weekends for you nostalgic buffs located just outside of Mifflintown. There are local wineries, a distillery, and breweries nearby that offer offer live music on weekends to check out!

My name is Kris! I originally grew up in Mifflintown, PA and moved to Downtown Lancaster when I was 18. After living the country life and then the city life, I decided I wanted the beach life so I moved to the sunny state of Florida. I resided there for four years and decided to come back to my hometown to invest. I now own a cabin in the woods and an apartment in town that I Airbnb. Both have very rustic vibes with very different settings. Depending on your mood of having a secluded setting or a convenient setting I offer both of them with my properties. In my mind I love both. So I am offering the option of the best of both worlds. I hope whichever property you choose you have full access to all the amenities on your stay and enjoy it to the fullest.
