The space
Comfortable stylish double room with en suite. Wardrobe, dressing table, and wool rug on the floor. We provide feather duvet and pillows with 100% cotton bed linen. Towels are 100% thick and fluffy cotton.

The room is on one level, access to the garden with river and garden view, the one acre garden is a shared space with other guests and ourselves.

We do not have a HOT TUB.

Our accommodation is room only, no meals offered and no cooking facilities.

Strictly no food preparation or cooking in or near the room . Suitable for people who are only needing a bed for the night and to shower, who will eat out.

ONE parking space in the car park. Space limited. A second car will have to find alternative parking.

Set deep in the countryside of the Ystwyth Valley in the Cambrian Mountains, in a lovely quiet place, with river and forest walks in all directions. Walking paths direct from the property in all directions. The area surrounding the property is farmland with live stock mainly sheep and cows. The property is right next to the Ystwyth river, with direct access to the local village swimming spot, which has been a local favourite for many generations. Fishing for Sea trout and Salmon can be had from our river bank and all the way to the sea. Spectacular scenery, tranquil and beautiful.

Surrounded by ancient forests and woodland walks along the river and forest trails. There are spectacular views of the Ystwyth Valley from the hills behind our property. Fishing rights and complementary fishing licence available.

Strata Florida and an SSSI (Grogwynion Nature Reserve) just a few hundred yds away close on the Ystwyth, one of the wildest stretches of river in Wales.

Hi. We live in a beautiful place that we want to share. We moved here from Wiltshire in England in August 2015 to get away from the 'rat race'. We have a small holding of 3 acres which we have made into a slice of paradise over the last 3+ years. I studied Fine Art at Aberystwyth University. I like walking my dogs, We are both motorcyclists and love travel - especially touring holidays in Europe. I'm fond of listening to music whilst I paint or work. We love the outdoors and creating our 1 acre garden (work in progress).
We want our guests to share this amazing place we live and to enjoy exploring its hidden secrets, and to enjoy Dolau Afon in its wonderful setting. If I were my own guest, I would be ecstatic about my place and I hope you will be too. "Every day is an adventure, enjoy it".
