My bungalow is in Malborough in a peaceful location . It is the perfect base for exploring nearby Salcombe, Hope Cove , local beaches and the stunning coastal path . Ideal for walkers .

The space
My place offers a cosy double bedroom with a shared bathroom and use of kitchen for making tea and coffee. There is a small garden with a decked area which catches the sun in the afternoons . Great for sitting and relaxing in and for watching the beautiful sunsets . It is an ideal base for walking the South West Coastal Path .

I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel called Barney who lives with me at the property.”

It sits within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty around two miles from the scenic holiday destination of Salcombe, and a similar distance from the beaches of Hope Cove . It’s also a waypoint on some fantastic coastal and countryside walks, making it a great option for walking holidays .
NEARBY— From Malborough, simply follow Salcombe Road (A381) for two miles to reach Salcombe. A cycle/walking path runs alongside the road, making it a popular route for hikers. By heading south down Collaton Road , it’s also possible to take a direct route to either North Sands or South Sands.

The nearest supermarkets are in Kingsbridge, however Malborough has a Cooperative food store and petrol station , post office & farm shop and 2pubs .

There is also a Tally Ho bus that runs through Malborough to Hope Cove so ideal for anybody walking the coastal path .

I work 3 days a week in Kingsbridge and work varying shifts . I’m out a lot of the time . I’m happy to chat with my guests about the local area and can recommend lots of lovely walks and special places to visit whilst staying in Malborough . I’m willing to help in anyway I can and can always give guests a lift to Kingsbridge or Salcombe if they don’t have a car .
