Traditional style semi detached cottage with log burning stove. Short walking distance to Glencoe & Ballachulish villages - approx 5 minutes to each & their shops, pubs, cafes. Loch view to the front of the cottage. Parking available at the rear.

Patio area at the rear of the cottage provides excellent views across the loch to the spectacular mountains.

Bedrooms and both bathrooms refurbished Jan 2020.

The space
Built originally in the 18th Century, Stone Cottage provides magnificent views across Loch Leven, whilst the rear facing bedrooms provide scenic woodland views over the cottage grounds, which are close to one acre in size and include a stream and open waterways.

The cottage is a short stroll away from both Glencoe and Ballachullish villages, as well as being a few hundred yards for the popular gift and coffee shop 'Crafts and Things' which is an ideal place to relax and enjoy a leisurely breakfast or sample a fine selection of refreshments after your invigorating day out in the mountains.

The cottage is an ideal base for walkers and climbers to explore the local area.

In line with our policy to always improve our cottages, in December 2018 we installed high quality double glazing in our cottages with the ability to reduce eternal noise down to a minimum, to help ensure all our guests enjoy the peace and quiet. New external doors are also being installed.

To help make it easier when you arrive. We operate a key safe policy, so you are able to let yourselves in anytime from 5pm ( this is may alter to an earlier time as COVID guidelines ease). We feel, this takes pressure off guests when they are driving to our cottages, as they do not feel as if they have to arrive at an expected time. We want you to enjoy the scenery on your drive to the cottage.

I live in the Lake District in England with my family, but enjoy spending as much time in Glencoe as possible. We all enjoy the peace, space and tranquillity.
The locals in the area are very welcoming. It is home from home for us.
