Kingfisher View is a named as you may often catch a glimpse of our resident who lives just down the river. Our Shepherds hut is small but has everything needed for a comfortable stay. It is basic but comfortable accomodation. In the tiny space there is a shower, toilet and tiny kitchen. The views over the river, watch the sunrise through the picture window as the wildlife awakes.

Situated on an Island in the centre of the River Weaver.

Sit out by the rivers edge, wild swimming available, many species of wildlife can be seen, the kingfishers darting along the river, we occasionally have an otter sitting on the bank eating the freshwater mussels. The owl can be heard in the evening and you may catch a glimpse of the sparrowhawks.

Hand built from reclaimed/recycled materials, a wonderful learning experience to construct it thinking of how to fit in everything needed into a tiny space, most importantly doing the view out over the river justice.
