We welcome you to our newly finished mid century modern house. The custom kitchen is fully appointed with stainless appliances. Seating for 6 at the table and 3 bar stools at the large kitchen island. The master bedroom has a luxurious ensuite with glass shower , rain showerhead and his and her vanities in a sleek decor. Relax in the lounger in the sunroom or cosy by the fire in the sitting room to watch your favorite tv shows. There is a large garden for the children to play.

The space
The house is 3 miles from Oughterard, 30 mins. to Galway city. Situated on a quiet side road, you can go for a stroll down the country lanes, stopping to pet a donkey or admire the native fuschia flowers.

Spend an afternoon on the Oughterard golf course, rent a boat and gillie to fish on Lough Corrib, take a tour to Ashford Castle from the pier near the town, wander the Celtic gardens, (Brigit's Garden) , linger over lunch and a beer at the outdoor patios in the town or enjoy the traditional Irish music in the pubs in the evening.

We live in Canada but spend a lot of time in Ireland.

During your stay

I am always available for questions tho we live in Canada but our neighbors look after the house for us. They live close by so can also answer questions or get help with a problem.
