Up to four well behaved dogs are very welcome at a cost of £30/dog per stay.

The space
Booking the Mill House and Wheel House together as 'Goonwinnow Farm Cottages' creates a unique space that can accommodate up to 20 people, with two hot tubs, garden space and courtyard for your private use.

As is often the case with Cornish barn conversions, the Wheel House and Mill House have an 'upside down' layout, which creates a lovely open and airy living space upstairs with most bedrooms on the lower level. Entering up a few stairs from the garden area, are stunning open plan kitchen/living areas with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. Also on this upper level in each cottage is a bedroom and shower room. Downstairs are three further bedrooms, a shower room and a bathroom.

The eight bedrooms consist of: 6x superking (or twin) , 2x two sets of bunk beds. Great for groups of friends with the beds split into singles and really handy for family groups with no-one getting the short straw of a small bed!

The six washrooms are: 2x bath with shower over, 3x shower rooms and 1x wc+sink.

The cottages are provided with well-stocked fitted kitchen, an electric oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, internet-enabled Smart TV for streaming via your online Netflix/Amazon accounts, mini bluetooth speaker, barbecue, garden furniture and central heating. There is free WIFI available in all cottages, huge Egyptian cotton bath sheets, crisp white bed linen. There is an iron & ironing board and hair dryer. Hot tub towels are also provided as well as cots and high chairs on request. Smoking is not permitted within the cottages or games room. There is plentiful on-site parking.

Within the farm grounds is a communal games room with table tennis, pool and table football. It should be noted that the games room is a rustic barn and one of the side walls is half open (no door) to the outdoor play area, swings and climbing frame. Guests are welcome to roam in the fields and make use of these communal facilities.

Changeover day during peak months is Friday with flexibility and short-stays at other times. Your cottage will be ready for you from 16:00hrs onwards and checkout is 10:00hrs. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in all cottages for a small fee.

At the end of a day of adventures and exploring, comfortable beds, peace, quiet and dark skies mean you're sure to relax and re-connect.
