Very spacious semi detached villa in Ugijar, which is the capital of the Eastern Alpujarras. The house is located in the oldest and quietest part of the town but only minutes to the main shops and restaurants/bars. The house has outstanding uninterrupted views over the mountains and countryside from the rear rooms and terraces. The house has a wood burner in the lounge to enjoy cosy nights by the fire.

The space
The house has 3 bedrooms, sleeping a maximum of 6 people. A large upstairs terrace with mountain views. Two bathrooms ,an open plan lounge, dining room and fully fitted kitchen with a terrace to enjoy al fresco dining. Cot and travel cot and high chair are also available.
The house is ideally situated for walking holidays, romantic weekends, painting holidays, cycling and also motorcycling or just relaxing and enjoying a taste of 'real Spain'. There are various fiestas in the summer months, and the main fiesta of the Virgen Martirio, which is in mid October. The town also has a swimming pool open in the summer.

The Alpujarras is an area of outstanding natural beauty and appeals to people who wish to experience the traditional way of life in this unspoilt area of Spain. The city of Granada is approximately 1.5 hours. You can also visit the ski resorts in the Sierra Nevada and if you want to be near the sea it is around a 40 minute drive. Walking, hiking, horseriding, cycling and motorcycling are just some of the various activities. Painting and Pottery are also available in the local villages. The fiesta is held in October to honor the Virgen Martirio and various other fiestas are held in the summer. There are local bars/cafes in the town, and a very good restaurant. There are also 4 supermarkets and a 24 hour medical centre.
