Autentic, hand carved log cabin and traditional lakeside sauna in the untamed wilderness of Lapland. Experience in the enchanting beauty of Arctic: Northen Lights and the magical time called Polar Night or bewildering midnight sun. Scenic, wellmaintained road, 60 km to Kittilä airport, 45 to popular ski resort Levi (or pickup). Nearby the enchanting fell Pulju to discover (snowshoes available). In winter a true wonderland of snow, in summer a spot on destination for nature lovers.

The space
Well equipped kitchen, open fireplace in the cozy living room and spacious loft. Traditional wood heated sauna (steam/washing room) and dressing room. No shower in the cabin. Wood heated hot tub (not in use in winter)

The untamed beauty of arctic wilderness at it best! Middnight sun, Northen Lights, the magical time called Polar night, when the sun doesnt rise above horizon. Total relaxation all year round in the traditional finish sauna - very enjoyable! Or get soaked in the hottub filled with unfiltered, soft water from the wilderness lake (sorry, not availeble in winter (-; ). Also in the mid winter the pipes might freeze or the well dry out, if so domestic water must be melted from the plentiful of snow.

I live in Lapland and have had the cabin Kuxa since 2017. I have lived/worked in many enluring destinations above the Artic Circle and hiked on mountains by the Artic Ocean, so if you have any question about Lapland, I do my best to answer. I love hiking and in winter I go skiing offtrack in the wilderness , so the cabin Kuxa is ideal hide away for me. I cant always be there )-: so I have listed Kuxa in Airbnb. If I wont be there to meet you, I will be with you in spirit - contact me anytime. I do my utmost to secure you comfortable stay in the modest cabin surrounded by fells, pineforests and swamps. And it is a bonus for me asswell that an international airport is only 60 km away (-;
