My 1 bedroom cottage is a short distance from Snowdon and offers beautiful views of Anglesey.

Situated near Llanberis, the cottage is perfect for couples, a small family or single traveller looking for somewhere to stay, visit or work. Dog friendly.

The cottage offers the perfect base for nearby activities, such as walking, climbing, canoeing, paddle boarding, biking and cycling

The space
Recently rebuilt to a high standard this cottage features all mod cons, double glazing, full central heating, and unlike most stone Welsh cottages in the area it's warm, light, and dry!
The lounge and kitchen are open plan, with a raised ceiling into the roofline. The main feature of the lounge is the original stone fireplace that defines that cottage feel. A fully equipped kitchen with double electric oven, hob, fridge and microwave. The bedroom and bathroom are entered from an adjoining doorway.
The bedroom has a double bed, a wardrobe and cupboards for your use.
The bathroom has a shower/bath combination.
The front of the house overlooks miles of open countryside and villages, all the way across to Holyhead on Anglesey some 25 miles away. The Irish Sea can be seen from the front garden.
There is a local shop and cafe within walking distance for any last minute essentials. Larger supermarkets can be found in Bangor and Llanberis.

Hi! I’m Mary a retired teacher and mum to 3 sons living in the French Alps and London. I moved to North Wales as a student to attend Bangor University so I could indulge my lifelong love of mountains and all that’s on offer in this fabulous area. I married a Welshman and together we renovated our own local cottage which is just 5 mins away from my Airbnb. This property was completely rebuilt from the ground up 12yrs ago; it looks like a cottage, but is a new build, so its lovely and warm and dry, yet retaining all its character. It's been a very successful Airbnb for 5yrs . From the moment I walked in the door, I fell for its warmth and idyllic character! So, my passions are cycling, mountain walking, skiing, singing, gardening, modern jive and travel. I’ve worked as a nanny in America and travelled across the States and Canada in the past. My favourite places are Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Nepal, but I have a new grandaughter , so I need to stop rushing about and offer others the chance to enjoy the stunning scenery of North Wales. I enjoy music and live gigs; Phil Collins /Rod Stewart/Coldplay/Queen and have two cats, but have always had local Farmer’s sheep dogs in the past! Hoping my new venture will give me the chance to meet ‘Airbnbers’ from all over the country/ world. I love meeting people and have kept in touch with folk I’ve met travelling. I love this cottage and hope to retire here in the future!! Hope you will love it too!
