Lovely double bedroom with comfortable modern Euro kingsize (180cm x 200cm) bed, tv, fast wifi, double wardrobe & drawer space, bedside tables and dressing table/desk and sole private use of the adjacent modern bathroom. You have the sole use of a small study/breakfast room on the same floor in which to prepare & enjoy provisions we supply for a continental breakfast. The study has seating for 2, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, cutlery/crockery. You are welcome to microwave an evening meal.

The space
In addition to the bedroom and bathroom, we are very happy to be able to offer our guests the convenience and privacy of having the sole use a small upstairs study/breakfast room. Here you are able to prepare and eat a continental breakfast (provided) and/or microwave your own evening meal. An ideal bonus for couples, singles and business travellers alike. Please note, there is not a sink or running water in the breakfast room but, as in most hotels, water for the kettle, etc., is available from the private bathroom. You will have sole use of the modern bathroom adjacent to your bedroom which is newly refurbished with bath and in bath shower. We wash and replenish any used cutlery/crockery every day when it is left in the study/breakfast room. Naturally, bed linen and towels are changed for every new guest. For our longer stay guests, we change bed linen and towels after you have stayed 7 nights with us. Also, for guests staying 7 nights or more, the ground floor utility room has a washing machine and dryer which guests are welcome to use by prior arrangement. As seen in the photos, there is a lower ceiling height at the far end of the sleeping area of the bedroom, on either side of the bedhead, but the remainder of the bedroom enjoys normal ceiling height.

David and I are, by nature, very hospitable, friendly people and enjoy meeting new people but we have maintained social distancing so contact will most likely be limited to your arrival and/or departure. But please do not hesitate to call or text us on our mobiles if there is anything you need.

We live in a nicely modernised and refurbished 1950s house in a quiet cul de sac in a designated "Area of Special Character" on the Heath and Reach side of town. We are within walking distance (through Knolls Wood) of Leighton Buzzard Golf Club. Rushmere Country Park and the Greensand Ridge are 20 mins walking distance or a 5 min drive. A 30 minute walk will take you to the Grand Union Canal. It takes 20 mins to walk into town (or 5 mins by car) and the mainline train station is a 10 minute drive away. In the other direction, the A5 is easily accessed making Milton Keynes, Bletchley and the M1 all within easy reach. Bury Farm Equestrian Village is a 15 mins drive. The Open University is a 15 minute drive. Woburn Safari Park, Woburn Abbey, Centre Parcs Woburn Forest and Bletchley Park are only 15 mins drive. We are also an easy drive from Whispnade Zoo, Mead Open Farm, MK Museum, MK Theatre, The Stables, and Gulliver's Land Theme Park. If you plan to visit National Trust sites then Ascott House, Ashridge Estate, Waddesdon Manor, Dunstable Downs, Pitstone Windmill, Whipsnade Tree Cathedral, Claydon and Stowe are just some that are within an easy drive.
