Driftwood Cottage is set in a beautiful and quiet residential area of Hout Bay. This self catering cottage is well-equipped and located next to a private family home. It sleeps 2 people but children in a cot or on a mattress can be accommodated.

Furnished in calm natural colours, it is light and airy. A stairway leads you to the main bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Here you will also find a large glass folding door that opens onto a private balcony with stunning mountain and valley views.

The space
This gorgeous separate cottage alongside the main house allows guests to be positioned in the superb holiday location of Hout Bay along the Atlantic seaboard of Cape Town. The cottage has modern yet minimalistic finishes. It is light and airy with an open plan kitchen and living room area downstairs. Upstairs is the bedroom leading on to your own private balcony offering the most exquisite views of Hout Bay all year round. The bedroom is equipped with an en-suite bathroom with a shower with double bed and cupboards. The kitchen is fully equipped to support a self catering vacation.
Bed linen and towels are provided.
A gas braai is available on the balcony and a baby camp-cot with linen are available at request.

Our neighborhood is a quiet peaceful area of Hout Bay nestled in the mountains high above the valley.
Access to the famous Constantia Wine valley, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Table Mountain National Park and Camps Bay are all about 15 minutes’ drive away.
Local attractions in Hout Bay include some mouth-watering restaurants, shops, Hout Bay Market on the weekend and Hout Bay beach.
The beach is a 6 min walk away down the road.
