The apartment is located in the heart of Macclesfield, just off the main shopping street of Chestergate on the cobbles of Little Street. The apartment is in a Grade II listed building, and is part of the Little Street Silk Mill site, which was one of the earliest Silk Mills in the historic silk town of Macclesfield.
Little Street is restricted to traffic, which makes for a quieter location, despite its closeness to the town centre.

The apartment has just undergone a complete refurbishment, and has oak parquet flooring, a new fitted kitchen, cast iron column rads and furniture in keeping with the property.

I've lived and worked in Macclesfield for over 30 years and love the town and all its character. I work on Little Street and live a short bike ride away, so I'm on hand if required. I can advise on local eateries, bars and attractions as well as the best hikes and bike rides and other leisure activities.

Chestergate and the Market Square is bustling with cafes, shops and restaurants. There is a choice of supermarkets in the town, with Marks and Spencers, Aldi and Sainsburys a short walk from the apartments. The Treacle Market is held on the last Sunday of each month (10am-5pm) and the many artisan food and local craft stalls on Chestergate and the Town Square are well worth a visit.
