My husband, Rowan, and I moved to Mount Hunter in 2009. It is a such a beautiful country setting, yet only 5 minutes from all major amenities. The heritage listed property used to be an old dairy farm and the original 4-bay milking shed and farm outbuildings still remain. No matter where you are on the property, you will see a pepper tree, hence we chose to name the property, 'Pepperfield'.
We started building our gardens in 2016 with the view to being able to share them with others. We had our first wedding in our ceremonial labyrinth in February 2019.
Aside from gardens, we appreciate great experiences, whether it be a food and wine experience, art exhibition, musical or theatrical performance. It is our goal to present such experiences at Pepperfield.
We very much look forward to hosting guests so that they can experience the magic that we are privileged to enjoy every day.
