The local beaches of Pagham, Selsey and West Wittering are a short drive away and offer opportunities for a variety water sports or sandcastles with the kids. Chichester Harbour with its many local quays and marinas, such as Bosham and Dell Quay offers excellent sailing and boating options.
The South Downs National Park is just to the north of Chichester and has almost endless biking and hiking to challenge the fittest and wow the humblest with amazing views and outstanding beauty

Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve and SSSI is a short walk from Fisher Dairy and attracts a range of both migratory and resident wildfowl including ducks, geese, waders and more unusual visitors such as Egrets and Snipe. Around the farm and surrounding area we have a variety of wildlife including owls, bats, partridges, pheasants, kestrels, finches, tits, hares, rabbits and foxes as well as the resident Hereford cattle, chickens and guinea fowl.A recent visitor to Fisher Dairy (and keen birder!) recorded no less than 93 species of birds within four miles of Fisher Dairy during a four day stay.
The South Downs locally are home to herds of Fallow Deer and some rarer bird life such as Red Kites and Ravens
Chichester has a rich history as a market town and early Roman settlement with remains at Fishbourne and Bignor.
