Welcome to our family-run lodge in Guadalupe Reserve. We are a Peruvian couple of birds' enthusiasts and we decided to build a lodge better explore forest and wildlife. We both speak Spanish and English. Each room features twin beds with mosquito nets, a private bathroom (WC; shower; tap). Hot water is available at certain hours since the electricity is provided by solar panels. There are electricity and a WiFi network. Welcome to our family-run lodge in Guadalupe Reserve. We are a Peruvian couple of birds' enthusiasts and we decided to build
so we can better explore the forest and its wildlife. We both speak Spanish and good English. Our lodge is the ideal spot to observe a large variety of birds including the yellow and blue parrots as well as parakeets, hummingbirds, and many other rare species. Not only is the birds' biodiversity abundant but also mammals or reptiles. If you stroll around the lodge on the hiking trails, you will have the chance to spot plenty of capuchins monkeys, some rare frogs, snakes, and probably some tapirs, peccaries, or other animals which inhabit the Manu National Park. Each room features twin beds equipped with mosquito nets, a private bathroom (WC; shower; tap). Hot water is available at certain hours since the electricity of the lodge is only solar. There is electricity (depending on the sun conditions) as well as an effective WiFi network. From your room, you can already gaze at the many surrounding birds.
The lodge features a common kitchen with all the necessary ustensils to cook. A nice dining place allows you to eat while
enjoying a great view of the birds. The lodge also features a relaxing room with sofas and books. It is the perfect place to sip a drink! If you want to refresh yourself a bit, you can always take a dip in the river which faces the lodge. There will always be someone to guide you through the different paths if you want to discover the wildlife of Guadalupe Reserve. From the lodge, you can also book some tours for the Manu National Park if you want to do a boat tour,
a Wildlife Rescue Centre Visit, deep jungle tours, night walk, canoe tour, etc.
We will be happy to explain to you about Peruvian culture, food, and above all, about forest life, culture, and wildlife that we cherish so much.

You can count 6 hours of bus from Cusco to join Guadalupe. Frequent transports leave Cusco every day. The journey is enjoyable since it passes through various landscapes of mountains, cloud forest, and rainforest. It gives a good occasion to observe some monkeys or birds.

-Transport from the lodge to Pilcopata if you want to buy some food
-Accommodation, electricity, water, wifi and some walking tours around the lodge

The price does not include:
-The food (but the local market of Pilcopata has a lot to offer for very cheap, we can provide free transport to the market)
-The transport Cusco-Pilcopata - Guadalupe Lodge -Cusco (but it's easy to come here, we will help you with that, some details below)
