The beach of soft golden sand runs for miles. The house is just between Saint jean de monts, and Saint Hilaire de riez. A public leisure pool is at walking distance, as is the lively centre of Saint Jean. A network of cycle paths take you from beach to forest. The popular seaside town of Saint Gilles is just 12km. For the sporting types there is a sailing centre, horse-riding, golf, thalasso and a variety of fun parks.
During the summer months there is a large market twice a week and a market everyday in Saint Jean de Monts
