Located in a well known part of Cairo. Placed in a relatively quiet street, between two metro stations, El Geish and Abdo Basha.
In our list we have take two consideration: quietness and downtown closeness. Thus, navigating through the city will be quite affordable and easy.
Inside the apartment we have insured guests comfort in relation to all facilities. Thus, you can count on our Air-conditions, hot water, internet, washing machine etc.

The space
The place is designed in a traditional Egyptian style. It's quiet, comfortable and cozy.

In the living room you can enjoy having your meals in an exotic traditional Egyptian dining way. The sun light is wonderful in the morning as you eat your breakfast there.

The kitchen is fully equipped and please feel free to recommend any missing items you might need.

The bathroom is equipped with an electric water heater. There is also an automatic washing machine.

Two Brand new air-conditions units are installed for our guest comfort.

Two comfortable mattresses in the bedroom, as we purchased TAKI mattresses the best in Egypt.

The bigger bedroom/ living room is furnished with the traditional Egyptian Sahara alike style.

In the balcony you will enjoy most the five o’clock light and atmosphere -

However, one thing is not as we wished, that it’s placed at 4th floor without lift.

Where you’ll be

Abasseya , Cairo Governorate, Egypt

Located in one of the most known Cairo areas (El Abaseya). Placed in a relatively quiet street behind a busy local area between two metro stations, El Geish and Abdo Basha. By the window you can follow the daily life; people passing by on their way to work, school, shopping vegetables at the corner or praying in the mosque. Secondhand dealers and scavengers are walking through several times a day either by food, bike trailer or donkey cart. The exotic normal life of Caireen citizen. Cairo Soul.

This part is quite near to the most attractive tourist place in Cairo, the ☪️ Islamic Cairo. There you will find Khan Alkhalil as well as many other Islamic attractions.

Eventhough the area is relatively local, you will find modern and international food chain very close. It’s also very close to what ever you need. Bakery, supermarket, flower shop, fast food pharmacies as well as a hospital in case of emergency.

My husband Mohamed and I moved in summer 2015 to this house located in a special area of the city with it's own 115 year old history, which we are now restoring. However we are not new citizens in the area while we moved from another old house 300 m from here, actually we just started another decade. At the same time we became neighbor to our good friends and got the chance to share daily life, celebrations, tools etc.

Gardens and gardening is our passion together with outdoor activities like enjoying the cold shiver in the sea 12 month a year, jogging in the special nature of the region, doing maintenance work for the local community and collecting fruit and berries.

The World environment is one of my big concerns and therefor I'm constantly watching out for new methods to learn and do things better, for instance recycling, reducing waste of food, sharing private transport etc. I'm a teacher of Danish language at a large education center in Copenhagen where I enjoy meeting and working with people from all over the world. I have visited many countries through my life, and I enjoy getting as close to people and everyday life as possible while I'm out. My best experiences have definitely been those where I lived or visited people in their own home as for instance in Japan and Turkey. Not only new and exciting meals but the whole impression of a home and its residents gives me an invaluable souvenir still remaining many years later.
